Three cups a day may keep younger women safe

I have just read an abstract from Cancer Epidemiology Biomarkers and Prevention 18, 341-345, January 1, 2009 by Kumar et al.

They conclude, 'We observed evidence to support a potential beneficial influence for breast cancer associated with moderate levels of tea consumption (three or more cups per day) among younger women.'

So maybe drinking tea is a time-honoured, natural way of avoiding diseases after all and your morning cup of tea should be welcomed with more confidence than ever.

Peace to you from Contenttea

Problem with tea leaves in the teacup

If you dislike large tea leaves floating in your teacup then perhaps you should try making your own tea bags.
You can buy empty tea bags made from special paper and then fill them with loose Contenttea leaves.
Pop the bag in your teapot, add boiling water as usual and wait a few minutes to enjoy that rich, full flavour of old Siam.

Another answer to the same problem maybe to strain the tea.
You can buy a rather nice tilting tea strainer which should remove the offending leaves as you pour.

However you solve the problem of the leaves in your cup, please let us know all about it here at your Contenttea blog. Cheers!

What is Contenttea?

Contenttea is grown on the upland slopes of northern Thailand in rich, well-drained, fertile soil high above sea-level.
It is hand-picked, Sun-dried and hand-packed. There are no mechanical processes used in the production of Contenttea.
Its full-bodied, rich flavour is typical of teas from this area which are a special mixture of Chinese and Taiwanese strains.
Add a little hot water to the dark twisted leaves and the luscious flavour truly flows to welcome you to the land of old Siam.
Sip it gently and luxuriate as it pervades the body, refreshes the mind and brings contentment.
The delicate, musty fragrance is especially welcome if you have a cold and the tea is a completely natural product rich in the goodness from the Sun.
